LucSculpture is a special art school for the public. For example Grandparents bring their grandchildren there to do art together. That tells you of the spirit of the place. It is becoming a mecca for local artistic people of all the arts, music, poetry, etc. and since Luc’s wife Yuri is a Naturopathic Doctor the top floor is a clinic. Therefore it is no surprise that there is a lot of activity there related to good health and welfare such as yoga, and healthy cooking workshops.
All the teachers are professional artists.
CLUB DRAW ~ On Sundays I run Club Draw. It is a drop club for figure drawing. Each Sunday from 12:30 to 1pm I draw in a diferent manner or mind set. The intention is to inspire and suggest new ideas for the drawers to experiment with. Then from 1 to 4pm we all draw. The cost is $20 and this covers the place, nude model, newsprint and charcoal.
PAINTING ~ Mondays, 9 to noon, 1 to 4pm and 6:30 to 9:pm
PORTRAITURE CURRICULUM ~ Thursday evenings I teach an entire curriculum on portraiture. See schedules and pricing on http:www.lucsculpture.com). This class is for the very serious student who wants solid foundation skills and is willing to do homework.
SOFT PASTEL WORKSHOPS ~ Occasionally I offer Pastel Workshops in Portraiture, Landscapes and Still Life.
